  • Retail Sales from shopping online predicted to grow to $370 billion in 2017
  • In 2013 57% of Irish Internet users shopped online. This figure has increased steadily since then.
  • 71% of online shoppers believe that will get better value than shopping in the high street.
  • Mobile ecommerce was up 35% for the first quarter of 2014,compared to the previous year.
    This includes purchases made on both mobile phones (8.2% of total) and tablets (10.3% of total).
  • Mobile Phone add to cart and conversion rates are much lower than Desktop Computers
  • 27% of UK online sales in 2014 were made using via a tablet device

  • 95% percent of tablet users and 72 percent of smartphone users who make a purchase do so at home.
  • 46% of mobile users say they are less likely to comparison shop when using an app.

GrowCoach is a Coaching concept created by leading GAA Coaches Kevin Walsh, Brian Silke and Sean Conlon designed to empower GAA Coaches from underage, club, and elite levels to improve and support coaching skills to build players to perform at the highest levels.

GrowCoach offers unique coaching solutions, which are primarily built on the principle of Spatial Awareness – Taking Space – Making Space. Webinars and workshops will focus on both off the ball and on the ball techniques and skills of Spatial Awareness while also looking at footwork, balance, offensive and defensive play in the modern game.

Founded in 2018, GrowCoach has delivered numerous workshops to GAA Clubs and County teams throughout Ireland. Responding to the COVID19 pandemic GrowCoach is now bringing its exclusive coaching model online with a series of pre-recorded and live webinars aimed directly at coaches of all grades  worldwide.

GrowCoach will empower and upskill Coaches during the current lockdown period and assist them in preparing for the intensity of the new and forthcoming seasons.

Ballaghaderreen & District Credit Union Ltd is owned and run solely for the benefit of it’s members and is a not for profit organisation. Ballaghaderreen & District Credit Union Ltd is affiliated to the Irish League of Credit Unions since December, 1983 and are serving our members since March, 1984. The first Credit Union was formed in Ireland in 1958. In over 520 locations throughout the country, Credit Unions have helped nearly 3 million people to help themselves to better value, fairer loans and savings services.

Each Credit Union is run only to benefit its members, all of whom have something in common – the common bond. The common bond is the factor that unites every Credit Union member. It is what every member of a particular Credit Union has in common.

The Credit Union is run by a Board of Directors who are elected to the Board normally at the Annual General Meeting. They are then responsible for the control, direction and management of the affairs, funds and records of the Credit Union on behalf of its members.

All Credit Union members after the age of 16 have an equal say in the running of Ballaghaderreen & District Credit Union Ltd regardless of the amount of money they may have in their accounts. Any surplus income generated is returned to our members by way of a dividend or is used to add or improve services for our members.

Knockmore County Mayo has a community center which is a community hub situated on the R311 in the village of Knockmore, Near Ballina. Our village comprises of a Corner Shop – Public House – R.C. Church- GAA Club. Conn Rangers Soccer Club is also in our parish and is adjacent to the famous Mount Falcon Castle. Our parish is also home to 25 local organisations/group
